Chief Headlines: 2/16/14

Well, it’s definitely the offseason, and not a lot of Chiefs news out there. Nevertheless, here are today’s Chiefs headlines from around the net:

2014 NFL Scouting Combine primer – Chiefs Spin

A total of 335 draft prospects, including 85 underclassmen, have accepted invitations and are set to attend an annual week-long player evaluation process known as the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

The assessments kick off Wednesday, Feb. 19 and run through Tuesday, Feb. 25 at Lucas Oil Stadium.

2014 49ers Opponent Review, Preview: Kansas City Chiefs – Niners Nation

Today I thought it would be nice to look at a team with which we are all pretty familiar: the Kansas City Chiefs. You may or may not be familiar with their QB; moreover, there’s a slight chance that you may be familiar with their oddly imbalanced season. After starting so hot that they were the last remaining undefeated team, propelled largely by a then-league-best defense, they faltered down the home stretch as the defense started loosening up.
