Nov. 21, 1982- Kansas City lost at New Orleans in their return game from the NFL strike, 27-17.
Nov. 22, 1987- The Chiefs lost a team-record ninth game in a row to Green Bay at Arrowhead, 23-3.
Nov. 22, 1998- San Diego scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to defeat the Chiefs, 38-37. The loss was Kansas City’s sixth in a row.
Nov. 23, 1969- The Chiefs seven-game winning streak was ended as the Chiefs fell to the Raiders at home, 27-24. The Chiefs outplayed the Raiders statistically, but miscues and turnovers proved too much to overcome.
Nov. 24, 1960- Abner Haynes racked up 157 yards rushing against the Titans in New York, but the Texans still lost, 41-35.
Nov. 25, 1962- The Texans clinched a tie for the AFL West Division by routing the Raiders at the Cotton Bowl, 35-7.
Nov. 26, 1961- The Texans ended their six-game losing streak and humbled the Raiders, 43-11, at the Cotton Bowl. Abner Haynes set a team record by scoring five touchdowns, four of them rushing.
Nov. 26, 1978- The Chiefs defeated the Chargers, 23-0, for just their third win of the season.
Nov. 26, 1981- Kansas City lost to Detroit on Thanksgiving Day 27-10, that dropped their record to 8-5.
Nov. 26, 2000- The Chiefs lost to the lowly Chargers, 17-16. It would be the Chargers only win of the season.
Nov. 27, 1966- The Chiefs defeated the Jets in New York, 32-24, to claim their first AFL Western Division title since their move to Kansas City.
Nov. 27, 1983- The Chiefs lost to the Seahawks in Seattle, 51-48 in overtime. The Chiefs had leads of 14, 11, and 3 points, but lost them all. The 51 points put up by Seattle is still the most points ever scored against the Chiefs.
