Nov. 28, 1965- Mack Lee Hill ran for 119 yards as the Chiefs crushed the Oilers, 52-21.
Nov. 28, 1996- Kansas City won at Detroit on Thanksgiving Day, 28-24.
Nov. 28, 1999- A late comeback spurs the Chiefs past the Raiders in Oakland, 37-34. Pete Stoyanovich hit the game-winning field goal in the final seconds of play.
Nov. 29, 1992- The Chiefs beat the Jets, 23-7, for their fourth win in a row.
Nov. 29, 1998- The Chiefs snapped their six-game losing steak by beating the Cardinals 34-24.
Nov. 30, 1997- The Chiefs absolutely destroyed the 49ers, 44-9. Rich Gannon threw three touchdown passes, and the defense recorded five sacks in the game. The win improved the Chiefs record to 10-3.
Dec. 1, 1962- Using a draft pick they received from Oakland, the Texans choose Buck Buchanan of Grambling College as the #1 pick in the AFL draft and sign him immediately.
Dec. 1, 1974- The Chiefs defeated the Cardinals 17-13 in St. Louis. It was Hank Stram’s last victory as Chiefs head coach.
Dec. 2, 1984- The Chiefs defeated the Broncos 16-13 when Rich Karlis’ potential game-tying field goal clanked off the right upright.
