[KC Chiefs.com] Kansas City Chiefs QB Trent Green knows a thing or two about performing in the clutch. As the pilot at the controls of one of the NFL’s most prolific offensives, Green has been routinely called upon to come through when it counts most. Apparently, the Missouri native and two-time team MVP is quite adept at making the correct read both on the field and in the community. This week, Green hosted his fourth annual charity golf tournament from Belton, Missouri’s Loch Lloyd Country Club. The event once again went to benefit the Trent Green Family Foundation.

“Any time that I can help make a difference in the surrounding community, it’s important to me,” the 11-year NFL pro said. “From the moment that my family and I arrived here, we were greeted with open arms. This is just a small way that I can help repay Kansas City for all of the hospitality that I’ve been shown throughout the years.”
