Chris Horn & Marc Boerigter

Chris Horn & Marc Boerigter stetch out before practice. They were two of the earliest arriving Chiefs to warm-up.

Chris Horn & Marc Boerigter

Chris Horn & Marc Boerigter continue to stretch before practice. It really amazed me the time these guys took to make sure they were loose and ready to go.

Marc Boerigter

Marc Boerigter spent about 15-20 minutes running routes with teammate Chris Horn before practice. At one point, while I was watching the punters warm-up on the othe end of the field, Boerigter walked to within 2 ft. of me to retrieve an errand throw.

Chris Horn

Chris Horn spent about 15-20 minutes running routes with teammate Marc Boerigter before practice. The speed with which these guys make their breaks and cuts is unreal. If I tried to cut that fast I’m sure I’d blow out me knee.

Trent Green

Trent Green came out of the dressing room and immediately began signing autographs. He signed for 10-15 minutes until it was time for him to begin warm-ups with the rest of the quarterbacks. Too bad, my son and daughter where next in line when he had to go.

The Team

Once the whole team was assembled, practice began with some routine stretching, much like I remember from Junior High P.E.

The Quarterbacks

The Quarterbacks Todd Collins, Trent Green and Damon Huard relax before beginning practice.

Trent Green

Trent Green and the rest of the quarterbacks went through some drop-back passing drills right in front of us. Green seemed really friendly and acknowledged the crowd when they began shouting his name.

Trent Green drops back to pass. The quarterbacks seemed close enough that we could reach out and touch them while they were doing this drill.

Dante Hall

Dante Hall turned and looked the other direction right when I snapped this picture. I did manage to capture rookie wide receiver Brett Fischer as he prepares to catch a pass.

Priest Holmes & Tony Richardson

Priest Holmes & Tony Richardson relax and watch the action from the sideline. They both took minimal snaps, but when on the field they showed that they are ready for the 2005 season.

Lawrence Tynes

Lawrence Tynes spent 10-15 minutes signing autographs after practice. After a brief special teams workout, Tynes and punters Nick Murphy and Dustin Colquitt spent most of the practice sitting on the bench.
