[KC Chiefs.com] Kansas City Chiefs QB Trent Green, who has garnered the last two team MVP honors, was honored by The Kansas City Sports Commission and Foundation during the 33rd Annual Sports Commission Awards Banquet. Dedicated to “Exploring the Values of Kansas City Sports,” the event was held on Tuesday, June 21 at the Hyatt Regency – Crown Center. Green was recognized with the Special Achievement Award for Professional Athletics Presented by Sprint and was presented his award by Head Coach Dick Vermeil.
