[Dayton Daily News] The Dayton Daily News reports the Kansas City Chiefs are close to signing CB Alphonso Hodge, their second of two fifth-round draft picks.

According to agent Ken Harris, the contract structure is in place and the two sides are just finalizing the amount of the signing bonus. Given their situation at cornerback, the Chiefs want Hodge at camp from the start.
