[KC Chiefs.com] The Chiefs will depart for River Falls on Wednesday, July 27th with the first day of practice scheduled for the afternoon of Thursday, July 28th. Two-a-day practice sessions are tentatively scheduled to commence on Friday, July 29th. Family Fun Day is scheduled for the afternoon of Saturday, August 6th.
The Chiefs will open their 2005 preseason schedule with a short bus ride from River Falls to the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome as the club faces the Minnesota on Friday, August 12th. The Chiefs will break camp and return to Kansas City on Friday, August 19th.
WHERE: University of Wisconsin-River Falls, 27 miles SE of Minneapolis St. Paul
WHEN: Arrival-July 27 Departure-August 19
PRACTICE SITE: Ramer Field Complex, South Main Street (follow signs to Chiefs practice)
PRACTICE: Practice begins July 28; Two-a-day sessions July 29 Morning: 8 AM-10 AM (approximate times) Afternoon: 4:30 PM-6:15 PM (approximate times)
NIGHT PRACTICE: August 2, August 6 (Family Fun Night)
SPECIAL TEAM PRACTICE: July 31, August 3, 7, 10, 14, 17 (mornings)
NFL PRACTICE: No workouts scheduled against other NFL teams
OFF DAYS: August 4, 11, 12, 13, 19 (no scheduled practice or only short walk-thru, travel day or pre-season game)
