[Branson Daily News] Lynn Stiles won’t go so far as to say he’s expecting to receive his fourth Super Bowl ring. But the Chiefs’ fifth-year vice-president of football operations/player personnel sounds like he is expecting a return trip to the playoffs after last year’s 7-9 disappointment.
“I feel better about this team than any team that Dick Vermeil has assembled since I’ve been in Kansas City,” Stiles said during a golfing outing over the weekend at Ledgestone Country Club.
“We’ve made a real emphasis on improving our defense. It’s been pretty well-documented that we have a pretty good offense. If our defense is improved, I think we can be a contender.”
“I think we’ll be right there at the end.”
