[Topeka Capital-Journal] Head coach Dick Vermeil revealed on Wednesday that running back Priest Holmes had suffered a slight concussion during practice on Tuesday night.
The Chiefs were running a goal-line drill that comes as close to full contact as the coaches will allow in this camp. Holmes, a veritable touchdown machine in goal-line situations, was positively stuffed on one play.
Holmes was held out of Wednesday’s workout, though the Chiefs hope to have him available for at least one practice Friday after a players’ day off today.
