[Topeka Capital-Journal] The Chiefs got some of their walking wounded back in camp workouts Tuesday, even if for only one of the two sessions.
Priest Holmes, who had been sidelined since getting dinged in a Saturday night workout, was back in uniform for the Tuesday afternoon session, which was conducted at a considerably slower pace indoors because of severe weather.
Two defensive linemen who had been held out of practice for almost a week also returned to action Tuesday. Veteran John Browning (back) and second-year tackle Junior Siavii (tendinitis in the knees) practiced in the shells-and-shorts morning workout, but were on the sideline during the indoor session that afternoon.
Also returning to action after being dinged Saturday night was tight end Tony Gonzalez. The Pro Bowl player reinjured the right foot that has bothered him for two seasons and required offseason surgery. His playing status Friday remains uncertain.
