[Kansas City.com] The Chiefs received not-so-good news Sunday on running back Robert Holcombe.
Holcombe, who injured his knee Friday night, will be out for three to six weeks, Vermeil said.
Tight end Tony Gonzalez also missed practice Sunday because of some Friday night aches.
Gonzalez sat with a sore pinky. But he ran and cut on an empty field late Sunday while the Chiefs practiced.
“He’ll be all right,” Vermeil said. “With him that’s 38 inches from his heart, so he’ll be OK.”
Receiver Eddie Kennison missed practice because of family issues.
Vermeil expects Kennison to be back today or Tuesday.
