[Kansas City.com] The Chiefs had two injuries Saturday night. Receiver Dante Hall suffered a right knee sprain, and quarterback Damon Huard had a mild head trauma.

Twenty-five Chiefs – more than one-fourth of the roster – were scratched from Saturday night’s game.

None of the injuries suffered in training camp appears to be serious. Possibly the most notable start was Kris Griffin at right-side linebacker. Griffin is an undrafted rookie and is third on the depth chart. But starter Kendrell Bell is out, and so is Keyaron Fox with a hamstring injury.

Bell, who’s battled groin and shoulder issues, was held out as a coaches’ decision. Coach Dick Vermeil said Bell might play next weekend. So could 10-time Pro Bowl guard Will Shields, who sat out most of camp with back problems.

A list of Saturday’s scratches: linebackers Bell (coaches’ decision), Fox (hamstring), Mike Maslowski (knee), Quinton Caver (knee) and Shawn Barber (knee);

Receivers Freddie Mitchell (knee), Nathaniel Curry (hamstring) and Craphonso Thorpe (finger); linemen Shields (back), Peter Heyer (ankle), Aaron Johnson (finger) and Kevin Sampson (toe); tight ends Tony Gonzalez (finger) and Jason Dunn (back);

Defensive ends Carlos Hall (triceps) and Khari Long (back); running backs Sam Gado (neck) and Dee Brown (groin); quarterback Todd Collins (hand); fullback Robert Holcombe (knee); safeties Jerome Woods (knee) and Scott Connot (hamstring);

Defensive linemen Junior Siavii (knees) and John Browning (back); and cornerback Eric Warfield (back).
