[Kansas City.com] Linebacker Kendrell Bell wasn’t on the pregame scratch list, but he didn’t suit up Saturday night.
Bell participated in 11-on-11 contact drills last week but was held out again Saturday as a precautionary measure. He has yet to play in a preseason game. Bell, a starter, has been slowed by shoulder problems.
Other Saturday scratches: wide receivers Nathaniel Curry (hamstring), Dante Hall (knee) and Freddie Mitchell (knee); quarterbacks Todd Collins (hand) and Damon Huard (concussion); fullback Robert Holcombe (knee); linebackers Shawn Barber (knee) and Kris Griffin (leg); offensive linemen Kevin Sampson (toe), Aaron Johnson (finger) and John Welbourn (neck); and defensive tackle John Browning (back).
