[Kansas City.com] After a summer full of Ty Law updates in Kansas City, Jets coach Herman Edwards delivered the latest one Wednesday, which isn’t good news for Chiefs fans.
Law is healthy. He’s practicing every day. And the cornerback who visited Kansas City in March and was fantasized about in fan circles until July will play Sunday when the Jets visit Arrowhead.
“I think he feels 100 percent,” Edwards said. “But he hasn’t played in such a long time. That’s the whole thing. He’s healthy to play. Now he has to feel his way into playing games.”
Law spent the offseason recovering from a serious foot injury. But he considers himself one of the best corners in the NFL and wanted a contract to match it. The Chiefs talked to Law on a weekly basis but didn’t bite.
