[Kansas City.com] Former Denver running back Quentin Griffin was scheduled to work out for the Chiefs today.
Griffin can thank the Chiefs for giving his career a boost last year. The 5-foot-7 Griffin, who attended Oklahoma, had his biggest game in last year’s season opener against the Chiefs when he rushed for 156 yards and scored three touchdowns.
Otherwise, Griffin accomplished little in his two seasons with the Broncos. His 2004 season ended midway through when he tore the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee.
He was released by the Broncos at the end of the preseason.
