[Topeka Capital-Journal] The Chiefs will not have left tackle Willie Roaf (hamstring) and defensive tackle Ryan Sims (foot) for the game. Fullback Tony Richardson may play, but he’ll be very limited with a knee injury that kept him out of most workouts last week. Reserve cornerback Dewayne Washington is questionable with a back injury. Reserve quarterback Todd Collins, though listed as questionable, should be ready to play after being the emergency No. 3 QB for the Jets game.
With Roaf down, Jordan Black — a four-game starter at right tackle last year — will make his first start at left tackle. Veteran Chris Bober will open at right tackle and split time there with Kevin Sampson, the starting right tackle through most of training camp before he went down with a dislocated toe and missed the Jets opener.
