Random Thoughts from the Raiders Game

  • Randy Moss is the greatest player ever… period.
  • The offense really missed Willie Roaf. I can’t rememer the last time I saw the Chiefs get stuffed on so many third and short situations.
  • Trent Green doesn’t look totally in syn with his receivers yet, but he’s one hell of a competitor.
  • I know we have Larry Johnson, but I was still scared as hell when I saw Priest Holmes lying on the field.
  • Randy Moss is the greatest player ever… period.
  • Dante Hall looked pissed when his punt return was called back, but if Jerome Woods hadn’t blocked that guy in the back Dante would have gotten creamed.
  • Touchdown or not, that was still an amazing return by Dante.
  • The defense looked great against the run, but I was a little surprised that they didn’t blitz more to try and force Kerry Collins into some bad throws.
  • Do you think ESPN likes the Raiders? Listening to Sterling Sharpe you’d have thought the Raiders were blowing the Chiefs out.
  • Randy Moss is the greatest player ever… period.
  • Lawrence Tynes impressed me last night with two long, critical field goals that split the uprights.
  • Our wide receivers may not be spectacular but they get the job done.
  • Did anyone else see Kawika Mitchell successfully cover the great Randy Moss?
  • Raider fans can bitch all they want about the touchdowns they had called back by penalties, but when you push off it should get called and when you tackle a linebacker the officials have to call holding.
  • I haven’t heard any Raider fans admit that Robert Gallery got away with mugging Eric Hicks on Moss’ touchdown reception.
  • Rand Moss is the greatest player ever… and his team is 0-2.
