[Kansas City.com] Griffin’s Debut
Undrafted rookie linebacker Kris Griffin made his debut Monday night.
He suited up in place of Keyaron Fox, who injured his knee last week at Oakland.
The Chiefs did leave Denver with one bit of good news: There were no injuries to report late Monday.
Lone Bright Spot
WR Eddie Kennison was the lone bright spot for the Chiefs. His 26-yard catch late in the second quarter set up the only score of the half for the Chiefs, a 28-yard field goal by Lawrence Tynes.
Kennison finished with eight receptions for 112 yards. He was booed after every catch.
The Chiefs were penalized eight times for 70 yards in the first half, including six times for 55 yards in the first quarter. By the end of the game, they were penalized 13 times for 118 yards.
