[Kansas City.com] Tackle Willie Roaf didn’t practice again Thursday, and head coach Dick Vermeil said if Roaf doesn’t go today, it’s unlikely he’ll play Sunday.
Roaf strained his hamstring in the season opener against the Jets.
Tight end Jason Dunn (knee), linebacker Keyaron Fox (knee) and defensive tackle Ryan Sims (foot) also missed Thursday’s workout, which was in shells on a sunny, perfect day.
Vermeil said Dunn will practice today and play Sunday. Fox won’t have surgery for his knee, Vermeil said, but could be out six to 10 weeks.
“Ryan Sims may be longer,” Vermeil said. “But right now, if there is surgery, he’s more apt to have surgery in the future if it doesn’t go well in his normal rehab and healing process than Fox is.”
