Kennison’s Streak Ends

[Kansas City.com] Eddie Kennison, who came into the day as the Chiefs’ hottest receiver, didn’t catch a pass Sunday, ending his 55-game reception streak. It was the third-longest streak in team history.

At least another receiver, Marc Boerigter, had a decent day. Trent Green lofted a two-point conversion pass to Boerigter in the end zone, and he corralled it and spiked the ball in celebration.

The Chiefs hadn’t converted a two-point play since Green hit Kennison against San Diego in November 2004.
