[Topeka Capital-Journal] RB Priest Holmes did not practice Wednesday and will miss today’s session while visiting a southern California neurologist to get a second opinion on the safety of playing after sustaining a mild concussion last week in San Diego. Head coach Dick Vermeil believes Holmes will play Sunday, however.
In other injury news, Pro Bowl linemen Willie Roaf (hamstring) and Will Shields (knee) did not work Wednesday, but are expected to play. QB Trent Green attended the funeral of his father Wednesday but should practice today and Friday. Starting wide receiver Samie Parker (knee) and reserve safety Jerome Woods (hamstring) are not expected to play.
