[Kansas City.com] Quarterback Trent Green worked out with the Chiefs’ starters on Friday and will start Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders, coach Dick Vermeil said.

On Thursday, Vermeil had raised the possibility that Green would not start because he had missed so much practice time while in St. Louis for services for his father.

Green has made 71 straight starts for the Chiefs, a team record for quarterbacks, since coming over from St. Louis in a trade in 2001.
