Chiefs president and general manager Carl Peterson said Owens, the embattled Eagles receiver who was dismissed from the team Monday, is not on Kansas City’s wish list.

“Absolutely not,” Peterson said. “Ask the Philadelphia Eagles if they’re happy about their decision to do a $49 million contract with this guy. They paid him $12 million the first two years, and were they happy and did he make a difference for them going to and winning the Super Bowl?”
