[Kansas City.com] He torched Kansas City’s defense for 171 yards last month, but Terrell Owens can apparently scratch the Chiefs off his list of prospective employers.
Chiefs president and general manager Carl Peterson said Owens, the embattled Eagles receiver who was dismissed from the team Monday, is not on Kansas City’s wish list.
“Absolutely not,” Peterson said. “Ask the Philadelphia Eagles if they’re happy about their decision to do a $49 million contract with this guy. They paid him $12 million the first two years, and were they happy and did he make a difference for them going to and winning the Super Bowl?”
