Kennison Ready to Practice, Hicks’ Status Still Uncertain

[Kansas City.com] Apparently, Eddie Kennison’s knee injury wasn’t as bad as it looked.

The Chiefs’ No. 1 receiver might practice as early as today after sustaining what coach Dick Vermeil called a minor medial collateral ligament injury.

Defensive end Eric Hicks, who suffered a shoulder sprain on Saturday, is still iffy. He didn’t practice Tuesday.

“Hicks is better,” Vermeil said, “but it’s a lot different with a defensive lineman, when you have to use your arms and shoulders for leverage and such.”
