Kennison Doesn’t Practice, Hicks in Limited Role

[Topeka Capital-Journal] Wide receiver Eddie Kennison didn’t practice again Wednesday, even though the Chiefs thought he might, because of his injured left knee. Chris Horn and Marc Boerigter split practice reps at his position. The Chiefs still hope Kennison can practice today and play Saturday against San Diego.

Defensive end Eric Hicks, questionable with a shoulder injury, did some limited work Wednesday but still doesn’t know if he’ll be ready Saturday. John Browning would move from tackle to end and play in a rotation with Jared Allen and Jimmy Wilkerson if Hicks can’t go.
