[Kansas City.com] Owner Lamar Hunt will be uncharacteristically absent for Saturday’s game against San Diego.
The Chiefs said Thursday that Hunt has “some small complications” regarding adhesions to a surgery he had last year. Hunt, 73, has battled cancer.
Bob Moore, the Chiefs’ director of public relations, said Hunt will be back for next week’s season finale against the Bengals.
“He’s on the road to recovery,” Moore said.
