Updated Playoff Scenario

With one week remaining, the Chiefs are still alive for the final playoff berth in the AFC, but they must win next Sunday and hope for a lot of help.

Here’s what has to happen next week in order for Kansas City to make the playoffs:

  • On Saturday, Denver must win at San Diego
  • On Sunday, Kansas City must beat Cincinnati at Arrowhead
  • On Sunday, Detroit must win at Pittsburgh

    It’s a long shot, but at least the last game of the season still has some meaning.
