[KC Chiefs.com] The NFL informed the Chiefs on Wednesday that running back Larry Johnson has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday. Johnson becomes the first Chiefs player to win three Offensive Player of the Week honors in the same season since quarterback Joe Montana earned that distinction four times during the 1993 season.

Johnson carried the ball 26 times for 201 yards with three touchdowns, as the Chiefs produced a dominating 37-3 win over Cincinnati. Those 201 rushing yards were the second-highest single-game total in franchise history and were the fifth-highest single-game total in the NFL this season.
