[KC Chiefs.com] The NFL informed the Chiefs on Friday that QB Trent Green has been added to the 2006 AFC Pro Bowl roster. Green replaces New England QB Tom Brady who will be unable to participate because of an injury.
It marks the second AFC-NFC Pro Bowl selection for Green, who previously earned a berth on the AFC All-Star squad following the 2003 campaign. Green becomes the first quarterback in Chiefs history to earn multiple Pro Bowl berths and joins Hall of Fame QB Len Dawson as the only other signal caller in franchise annals to appear in two or more Pro Bowls or AFL All-Star Games.
The annual AFC-NFC Pro Bowl will be played in Honolulu, Hawaii at Aloha Stadium on February 12, 2006.
