[Kansas City.com] Coach Herm Edwards said the Chiefs were talking with the Packers about joint practices sessions this summer during training camp.
“We’re trying to work something out,” Edwards said. “If we can get it done, we’d like to do it.”
Edwards said the practices could take place at Chiefs camp in River Falls, Wis., the Packers camp in Green Bay or possibly someplace in between, such as the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
The Chiefs practiced against their nearest training-camp neighbor, the Minnesota Vikings, in several recent training camps. The Packers are now coached by Mike McCarthy, who was once an assistant coach for the Chiefs on the same staff as Edwards.
