[Kansas City.com] Quarterback Joey Harrington, soon to be exiled from Detroit, is making his first couple of visits to Miami and Cincinnati. Chiefs President Carl Peterson indicated the Chiefs have yet to schedule a time for Harrington to interview in Kansas City.
“We’ll have that sorted out by the end of next week,” Peterson said. “I want to see what the quarterbacks in the draft look like.”
Peterson said he was disappointed in the asking price by Harrington’s agent, indicating Harrington wants 2006 compensation equal to the $8.5 million he is scheduled to make with the Lions.
“I don’t think that’s realistic,” Peterson said. “That’s about what we’re paying Trent Green.”
