[ESPN.com] It’s been a tall order trying to fix the Kansas City secondary over the past two years, but the Chiefs made a big move Saturday by reaching a one-year, $1.75 million deal with former Denver Bronco Lenny Walls.
At 6-foot-4, Walls is the tallest cornerback in the NFL. He had been with the Broncos for almost four seasons before he asked for his release late last season, trying to get ready for the 2006 season. Walls, hoping to play the Broncos twice a year, visited two of the Broncos’ AFC West rivals — the Raiders and the Chiefs — before taking an offer from the Chiefs to challenge for playing time.
