[Kansas City.com] Cornerback, pass rusher or wide receiver?
The Chiefs could go any of those directions with their first-round pick judging by some of the draft prospects who are scheduled to visit Kansas City next week.
The list of visitors includes:
CB Jonathan Joseph, South Carolina
CB Richard Marshall, Fresno St.
DB Danieal Manning, Abilene Christian
DB Justin Hamilton, Virginia Tech
DE Mathias Kiwanuka, Boston College
DE Manny Lawson, North Carolina St.
DE Tamba Hali, Penn St.
WR Derek Hagan, Arizona St.
WR Santonio Holmes, Ohio St.
All teams are allowed 30 predraft visits under NFL rules.
Among the more prominent draft-eligible cornerbacks not scheduled to meet with the Chiefs are Clemson’s Tye Hill, Miami’s Kelly Jennings and Ohio State’s Ashton Youboty. Top pass rushers who weren’t scheduled to visit Kansas City include Florida State’s Kamerion Wimbley and Purdue’s Ray Edwards.
