[Kansas City.com] The Kansas City Chiefs signed free agent defensive lineman Shane Burton to a one-year contract, reuniting him with former coach Herm Edwards in his bid for an NFL comeback.
Terms of the agreement, announced Monday, were not disclosed.
Burton, a 6-foot-1, 310-pound tackle, has spent nine seasons in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, New York Jets and Carolina Panthers.
He sat out the past two years with knee problems.
