[Kansas City.com] Will Shields returned to practice Monday, and coach Herm Edwards expected him to be ready for Sunday’s game against the Bengals. Shields, an 11-time Pro Bowl guard, suffered a high ankle sprain nearly three weeks ago but has started in 207 straight games and kept a strict rehab regimen.
“I’m pretty sure he’s going to line up Sunday,” Edwards said as he knocked on a wood podium.
Fullback Ronnie Cruz (shoulder) also returned Monday, apparently putting the offense at full strength.
