[Kansas City.com] The Chiefs visited this week with cornerback Ahmad Carroll, who was recently released by the Packers. Carroll, Green Bay’s first-round draft pick in 2004, started the last two seasons but fell from favor after playing poorly, particularly in Monday night’s loss to the Eagles.
The Chiefs appear seriously interested in Carroll. They are down to three healthy cornerbacks after losing Benny Sapp for a prolonged period to a knee injury.
The Chiefs probably will get through the Arizona game with just the three cornerbacks, relying perhaps on emergency help from rookie safety Jarrad Page.
