[Kansas City.com] The Chiefs worked in practice on, among other things, the defensive pressure of Sunday’s opponent, the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers are second in the league in sacks, and linebackers Shaun Phillips (six) and Shawne Merriman (5 1/2 ) are one-two in the AFC.
“What you can’t simulate is the players they have,” Chiefs coach Herm Edwards said. “You can simulate how they blitz and how they bring pressure and how they line up, but you can’t simulate the three Pro Bowl players or the four Pro Bowl players they might have.”
“The good part about it is that we’ve got some Pro Bowl players, too, especially on the line.”
