[Kansas City.com] Remember that end-of-the-week announcement on Priest Holmes’ playing status?
Never mind.
The Chiefs said Friday that there was no news on an examination Holmes was supposed to have with his neurologist in Miami. Chiefs president/general manager Carl Peterson was out of town Friday and unavailable for comment.
On Tuesday, Peterson said he expected some news on Holmes by the end of the week.
“I would think he’d have to come back and he’d have to be around if he’s going to participate,” coach Herm Edwards said about Holmes, whose window to play this season is closing. “I don’t know where he is at this point.”
