[Topeka Capital-Journal] Chiefs defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham had high praise for Jarrad Page, the rookie safety who made the game-saving interception.
“All I know is that this young man is going to be a heck of a football player,” Cunningham said. “I’m surprised at the way he plays. He’s very bright, but he has about as good a feel for a young safety as I have ever seen. Not only did he make that play, he made a lot of other good plays today.”
In the first half, Page, who made his first career start Sunday, got his hands on an Aaron Brooks deep ball. The interception was his first as a pro.
“I thought he did a good job. When he got hit, he got back up,” Edwards said.
