[Kansas City.com] Derrick Johnson is now running on his injured ankle, and if the Chiefs played on Sunday, Johnson is pretty sure he’d play.
But the Broncos are in town for Thanksgiving, and Johnson won’t know until Wednesday if he’ll go.
Johnson, a starting outside linebacker who is a big part of Kansas City’s pass rush, has been out since injuring his ankle at St. Louis. Johnson said he’s “cool” when he runs, but as of last week, he was still experiencing pain doing agility work.
“I haven’t done that yet this week,” Johnson said.
As of late Monday, after the Chiefs finished a brief walk-through, coach Herm Edwards said no one had been ruled out for Thursday.
