Some Questions

Why can’t this billion dollar operation called the NFL get its collective ethics and morals together and provide some security and compensation for veterans?
I get a very sardonic chuckle watching the petty squabbling between Mike Ditka, Gene Upshaw, the NFLPA, the veterans, and everyone else concerning some financial safety for those guys who helped make the league what it is today. Those veterans who didn’t have the salaries of today, who had the horrible injuries, who only played for three or so years, those guys need whatever can be, and SHOULD be, provided. If nothing else, at least make provisions for medical expenses for the ex-players and their families, that would go a long way towards alleviating some of the stress and hardship. Sheer common decency would seemingly dictate this.
What will happen to the club level seating at Arrowhead when the renovations are finished?
Excellent question, that I wish I knew an answer to as this is where my seats are located. I have called the Chiefs ticket office trying to get an answer and have yet to receive one. All I can say is that if ANY fans are to be relocated due to putting high price suites in for those who, in my opinion, don’t even watch the game, then we should get some pretty darn good seats.
Who will be the Chiefs starting quarterback in 2007?
Please, I have considered sacrificing to any and all supreme beings to get a clue on this one.
Why can’t this multi-million dollar operation known as the Kansas City Chiefs and Arrowhead Stadium provide an adequate number of Port-A-Johns in the parking lots on game day?
This just borders on the absurd and the ridiculous. Not to mention asinine. Not to mention extremely inconsiderate to the thousands of loyal fans who make the whole thing possible.
Why can’t the average fan be appreciated more?
See above entry concerning sacrifice.
Who will be on the Chiefs offensive line?
Good question. I actually believe that our line will be pretty consistent. No, whoever they are protecting is a different matter entirely (see above entry concerning sacrifice).
How will the Chiefs defense do in 2007?
This is one area I feel very secure. I firmly believe that our defense will get us to the playoffs. I personally don’t mind a score along the lines of 13-6 as long as our number is larger than theirs. Remember when our team with the highest powered offense was losing with scores of 38-34 and such? Yes, I do, too. And I, for one, hope to never see those days again. Fourth quarter collapses do not set easy.
I, personally, cannot wait for the season to begin. I guess that in the meanwhile I will just have to wait for training camp to get underway. In the meantime, I guess we can all spend our down time bombarding the Chiefs with demands for those Port-A-Johns.
