Well its either money or the fact he wants to still show KC he’s got it, one of the two.

Hey I loved the team that we fielded that was the number 1 offense in the league, but the time to rebuild is now. You can gripe about Herm all you want but he is doing the right thing by getting young, building through the draft and developing a franchise QB. I’m not sure that Croyle is the guy, and I’m not sure he isn’t either. One thing I am sure of is are team got old, and the free agents we’ve signed over the past 5 years have not done much for this team except suck up cap dollars. The teams that have been successful in the last 10 years is Patriots, Packers, Giants, Cowboys etc. have all built through the draft. I believe that we do need guys that are Chiefs and are loyal to the Chiefs. Look at our defense we ranked pretty high last year and look who is on that side of the ball. Allen, Pollard, Page, Hali, Jhonson, Tank & Turk and some veterans….young guys mostly people, and Chiefs. Personally I think We should keep Sapp make him a starter and get rid of Surtain! If we’re going to rebuild lets rebuild.

Get his old crusty ass out of KC. If he wants to play for the Horse Heads that’s his problem. He was declining in ability anyway.
