At New England season opener, we’ll I guess the pats are gonna start the season off 0-1 yep, I’m predicting that we beat the pats at home. What do you all say about that??

we dont play them at home… so… well no
Comment by roncutler06 — April 15, 2008 @ 1:09 pm
I think he meant at the pats home. But I think that we start off 0-1 in typical Herm Edwards fashion.

If we had the coach, offensive coordinator, and offense we had 3-4 years ago, with this schedule, you better believe we would be a first week bye team in the playoffs. Those days are long gone now. Along with all of our talent. It’s gonna be another hard season to watch these guys. On the road fine, but when people start coming in to Arrowhead and winning, that’s messing with something special. Because we are “rebuilding”, ha.

Can I speak for all fans coming from out of town when I say I am tired of the Thurs. night preseason games?
Comment by John — April 15, 2008 @ 5:04 pm
4-12 again im guessing
Comment by Jones — April 15, 2008 @ 7:34 pm
this is a brutal schedule for a weak team. 3-13, 4-12 tops

We should know what the season will be like after week 3. If we can’t beat Oakland and Atlanta, it’s going to be a long season. This schedule looks better (easier) than last years.

Well should the anger and season losing streak depression begin now? REBUILDING CROCK of BS. Need complete restructure from the front office down.
Comment by ed — April 15, 2008 @ 11:39 pm
All of our wins the final score will either be 13-10 or 12- 10 haha.

C’mon guys… where’s the faith????? We’ll go 9-7 on a rebuilding year…=) I just hope we don’t lose to Miami…
Comment by Hubert — April 16, 2008 @ 9:02 pm
I can see a 9-7 record out of this but that’s if history repeats itself. Then again we only have like 35 players on the roster who have actually played a single down of NFL ball!
Possible 1-15??

I think we have a winning record coming this year. I’m calling it now and sticking to my word..even if we do lose the first 7 in a row then I still have faith we will win out the last 9. I like the idea of rebuilding..to be honest. Hate me all you want but I like it, I do not like letting Jared Allen go though..i don’t understand that one..

Don’t know about you guys but I can’t take another 4-12 season. I am use to the Chiefs not making it to the super bowl due to Marty’s curse or Vermils lack of D but I like Herm and I had\have faith in him but I need my team to at least win 6-8 games. It is bad enough I am surrounded by Raiders fans but to say our team is no better than thiers when you know that Al Davis is just using them to make money and not trying to win a championship. I will again where my Okoye jersey every sunday and again defend my team to the end but Carl needs to do something about letting people go like allen.

When will Arrowhead get a monday night game?
Comment by todd — April 17, 2008 @ 8:01 pm
CLark Hunt needs to step in and do something.
Comment by sam — April 18, 2008 @ 6:49 pm
Todd, You have to have a team worth watching by someone other than the loyal fans to get a monday night game. It’s all about the T.V. ratings.
Comment by John — April 19, 2008 @ 12:11 pm
Meh, Draft, problem solved…trade down…get Brandon Albert or Ryan Clady late…draft Mario Manningham to go alongside D-Bowe. Booyah…500 season in the works. Well unless Long, JAKE Long, falls to 5, then we’ll have a 5-11 season most likely. But do not, DO NOT, DO NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT let this Allen trade happen…GIVE HIM HIS FUGGIN MONEY! Carl….if this goes down..you deserve a punch in the mouth from EVERY SINGLE DAMN CHIEFS FAN OUT THERE.
Comment by Brandon — April 20, 2008 @ 11:55 pm
Oh great, New England to start with. At New England to boot! Can you imagine how peeved that team will still be after getting their butts kicked in the Super Bowl, losing their perfect season, all in one game! Worst yet, can you imagine what they are going to do to their first regular season opponent? A Chiefs defense now minus any pass rush. Not a good way to start the season off! They may set a record for points scored, because the Chiefs three and out offense will give Brady plenty of opportunities. This one could be very hard to watch.
