Good dialogue guys! The powers that be say they don't read websites that relate to their particular team! If you believe that, I have some beach front property in Nebraska you might be interested in! They do read, and the more give and take that the fans can share the more it stirs up the pot and forces action! Either way, ultimately something will get done! And if we must, we can take a questionable coach and through baptism by fire turn him into a great coach! The fans word is the final say because we pay the bill! So sooner or later we will either be rolling in the wins again or firing the folks responsible! So let's raise our game and keep it out of the gutter! Agree or disagree we'll all be toasting when the title someday comes our way! (and no I'm not a closet Raiders fan, although my brother is and he is really enjoying our anguish right now!)

Way to be on the ball guys... Don't you dare let our staff get away with something EVERY NFL TEAM DOES!!!

We're filling up spots for training camp. Sure, these guys sadly have a better shot at making the final roster than they would on many NFL teams, but realistically nobody is considering any of them a part of the big picture or even short term. They're warm bodies. That is all.

we actually don't appear to be in bad shape on whole. we do have three glaring weaknesses that will prevent us from having a good record this year (but we may actuallyhave a good team)

first is QB. Broyle has not shown enough yet to think that he is the answer. He may be able to make all the throws and is a good leader but has not overcome his tendency to get injured often.

second is O line. We're still a guard or tackle and a center short as I see it even assuming the rookie 1st rounder is an immediate starter.

third, is cornerback. Barring some kind of miracle we're in for real trouble there. Average QB with decent protection will eat us alive.

Next year might actually be the start of soemthing big and hopefully we don't run Larry Johnson this year preventing him from being the dominate back for 09 and beyond.

A YOUNG TEAM NOT A REAL BAD IDEA BUT NOT A GOOD ONE AS WELL TWO REASONS 1. They well have a hard time working with veterns like Tony G. Donnie E. 2. The new guys may not do us any good but this is Kansas City Chiefs I am talking about. All rookies for Kansas City Chiefs HAVE DONE A GOOD JOB BUT LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS AND IN THE SEASON.

I dont agree with part of this comment. Randy Moss never had a hard time working with Chris Carter and T.O (yeah T.O) never had a problem working with Jerry Rice. I think thats what made those players great. If they want to learn, why not learn from the best.

Im excited about this season. Even if we win to more games than we did last year it will be an improvement considering the young players we have. The draft was outstanding. No "Who in the heck is that" players in the early rounds. All first day and some second day players were expected to be picked higher than they were. There were a lot of steals for us. We may even have another Brian Waters out there in the mix of undrafted free agents somewhere. I just wish all the Chiefs fans would get on board and support the organization. It takes a while to know what kind of talent you have because most take at least three years to develop. So far I think Herm has done a great JOB in the draft and bringing in players. Luckily we didnt go after those so call "No-So-Free" agents and end up with another Kendrell Bell and Vonnie Holliday. I think Tamba Hali did a fantastic job last year on the other side. He would have ended up with more sacks if he wasnt going for the strip most of the time. I look for DJ to have a breakout season this year. Maybe even being the top 5 in tackles in the league. With a healthy angry LJ (with Jamal Charles breathing down his back) I think the running game will be able to take some pressure off of Brodie. D-Bowe is due a 80 catches or better season along with Tony G in the passing game. Who knows may even with Ill Will Franklin on the other side of D-Bowe and with Brodie's strong arm, we may be able to hit a few homeruns this year........GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!

I still say that we beat the Patriots on openinig day, I think we wont miss a beat in sacks with Tamba coming on the blind side of the QB, he'll get at least 10 this year, and I cant wait to see Dorsey coming up the middle of the line and either getting sacks or forcing the QB outside and getting a sack or a mistake. Guys look at the bright side of this picture, the last time we had this good of a draft we ended up as division champs twice and winning a Super Bowl. This franchise is on it's way to bigger and better things I guarantee it, you just have to be patient. There is some talent being added to Kansas City, were on our way stop being negative about everything that we do. We will win a championship I can feel it.

its okay to vent after a bad season, its even okay to speak your mind during a really bad season. but this should be the time of the year that fans are hopeing for the best, so get with the program and root your team on or dont even waste your time.

GO CHIEFS ! ! ! !

As said earlier, they have to fill there camp with bodies. Even if these players will never make it, and probably won't, if they are athletic they can at least challenge the actual talent we have brought in. Every once and a while you can find a diamond in the rough. How about Tony Richardson. He was on Dallas' practice squad and released. We picked him up and look what he did. Competition is key. Even if these guys aren't great, they have nothing to lose and might be good for special teams.

Looks like you guys are beginning to see my points I have made in previous posts! The only "free" agents that will sign with the Chiefs are truly "free" agents that can't hook on with any other team! These are desperation signings to attempt to bring some warm bodies to camp! I'd like to see the Herm supporters defend these signings! But I know the few ardent supporters that are out there will trash all of us that want to see progress! I for one will remain on the sidelines until the "real" Chiefs return. Unfortunately it may be a couple of very rough seasons before a new regime can right the ship!! Let's hope C. Hunt will see the light after only a few games and release King Carl and Herm before Kansas City becomes a ghost town! Will the last Chiefs fan please turn out the lights at Arrowhead before leaving!
