Mr. Fox you to need to grow up and go packing with your homeys back to the hood! D. Mac and Alberts, Please! Grow Up! TALK STREET WHERE IT BELONGS, IN THE STREET, NOT ON MESSAGE BOARDS! This is for intelligent people.

As for L.J. take that punk with you! He is a great running back when he wants to be, but, that is the key, WHEN HE WANT TO BE! You can bash me all you want, but, if there is one thing I know is my Chiefs history!

You look at when L.J. was drafted, he complained about being drafted by the Chiefs because of Priest Holmes, so he was a long hold out. When he finally signed his contract he bitched about never getting on the field (He wasn't getting on the field because he wasn't practicing hard enough, which was explained to him) so they put him on special teams. When he started making some plays on special teams he started bitching about not getting any time on offense. So the team made him the third string running back (I am not getting enough carries), then Michael Bennett got hurt so he moved to second string. Priest Holmes got hurt and he is thrust into the limelight, and what is the first thing he starts talking about...I want more money. The guy get's paid and then gets hurt!

He will never last out this contract in a Chief's uniform, and this contract extension will go down as one of Carl Petersons worst moves ever. That is just my prediction! I may be wrong, and I hope I am, but, personally I think that since day one L.J. has not shown one bit of class, again this is just my opinion!

Everything is looking up this year... The return game can only be better with Charles out of texas...Eddie Drumond was a major major downgrade from my man Dante Hall last year. L.J. will be hungry to get back in the Lime-Light. And the line has at least added B. Albert. (so we won't be dead last in rushing offense again). The secondary should be pretty solid - at least herm understands coverage - so his secondary picks should pay off. We already have some awesome safties - #44 Page. Overall we should be better. And we are in 1 of the weakest divisions next year. Anything can happen. I will miss J. Allen, Hopefully Dorsey becomes a beast in the middle to offset that loss. Quaterback is really the scary aspect of the team. outside of the most important position we are getting pretty solid. Our line is starting to shape up. If Alberts can hold his own at tackle and D. Mac on the right will be strong with Waters anchoring the guards.

O.K Hot shot Mike N. You seem like you have way too much to prove. We are interested in the upcomming season not your personal history... SO does anyone have any constructive points or info about this years team? Drama Queens.

It takes more than 1 guy to win a game. But a couple of really bad interceptions can lose a game. I just hope Croyle gets his head out of his ass this year! Or Thigpen comes out of nowhere and shines.

Let me make something perfectly clear...I never ramble to hear myself talk or see my printed words, so-to-speak!

I grew up in KC, and I am a die-hard Chiefs fan living in the land of Bear fans. My grandfather, before his passing in 1982 was one of Lamar Hunts friends, business partners in the Underground see: http://www.allbusiness.com/wholesale-trade/merchant-wholesalers-nondurable/391814-1.html
in addition to being one of his attorneys before he passed away in 1982.

From the time they opened Arrowhead until I went in the Navy in 1981, I saw more losing football game in a Suite or Skybox than most people have been to games at Arrowhead! I have an uncle who carries on the tradition with 4 seats 8 rows off the 45 yard line on the sunnyside of the field, so I get back there every couple of years to enjoy a game, although, not often enough since I have a six year old daughter...but, I am raising her right, as a Chiefs fan!

Mike N,
Don't get snippy! I checked it out and for future REFERENCE, when you quote someone WORD FOR WORD, you really, really make that clear. I thought you were just senselessly rambling on (as usual!) underneath the web address.

Oh, laugh a little already :-) I'm just joshin'.

I know our team is not da' bomb like it used to be, but nobody expected The Giants were even contenders either. We cannot be worse than last year...I'm sorry, even with Hoss we still only won 4 of 14. The sucky-ass-sorry-ass Raiders and Rams only won 2 and 3 games respectively last year and there is absolutely no way that we'll suck that bad in 08, no way...come on...

September 7th is not only my birthday but opening day, can't friggin' wait!!! The Pats are not all that anymore...they are beatable...The Ravens, Eagles, and Giants damn near had their number last season and the whole cheating debacle just makes me think how pathetic and vulnerable they must really be. You remember Coach "Skip-acheck" skipping around the boundary lines dangling his little red flag and pointing at toes like a complete WEIRDO LOSER?!?! That is my favorite video of the entire game. They ain't nobody, and they know it. The cherade is over.

It's on baby, you know it, how stoked are you gonna be when the boys in red start making Skip-acheck and pretty boy nervous? It is SO possible! They need us to be behind them, you know. Let's do it for them, and it feels so good, too!!! Here I go....I can't help it......

GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tammy ,
just for good measure, here is one more:

http://www.arrowheadpride.com/section/Rookies

Phones jangled, PR people sighed, and Mexican reporters made plans to fly to Kansas City today, when the Chiefs are expected to sign an unknown offensive lineman who goes by the nickname of "Pencil." That's the buzz Ramiro Pruneda has created in his hometown of Monterrey, Mexico, where his followers hope that someday he'll become just the second nonkicker from their country to play in an NFL game.

Pruneda is 6'7" and 320 pounds. This story is creating a little buzz around the blogosphere but put me on record right now as saying Pruneda will have little to no impact and that the Chiefs are obviously really, really desperate for O-line help. Call it a hunch.
Carl, there is a reason why there has only been one other nonkicker to come out of Mexico. This is not baseball and Mexico is not Japan. The only reason I would give Pruneda any credence is because Grunhard is backing him.

MESS WITH THE BULL AND YOU WILL GET THE HORNS!

Calm down Mike N...I just earned my Masters and was told not to cite Wikipedia as it is unreliable. Give us something legit, please!

And Mike Myers, go make a sequel to "So I married an axe murderer" and stop thinking that our beloved boys in red will do worse than last year!

Go Chiefs!!

Hey Tone, why am I a Jackass, because I speak the truth? What, do you not realize that last year the Chief's signed someone from the Mexican League of American Football. On January 26, 2007 the Chiefs agreed to terms on a two-year deal with offensive tackle Ramiro Pruneda from Monterrey Tech in Monterrey, Mexico.

Don't believe me Jackass, then check it out for yourself, and GO HOME AND GET YOUR SHINE BOX!

I couldn't agree with you more Bryan! Is it perhaps time to show Mr. Peterson and Mr. Edwards the door? These are things that should have been addressed in the off season, when people, like ever other team, was signing free agents, why weren't the Chief's?

They signed one player off of another teams active roster Demorio Williams, everyone else they signed was either injuried or out of football last year, or in the Mexican League. Hey, I wonder if being in the Mexican League of American Football is like the California Penial League? LOL.

What we really should be worried about is that there in no one behind him. Still no depth a O-line.

I think its making headlines because its a significant player and they have nothing else to report other then something as minor as this. Leg injuries are not ankle injuries IMO, they are lower extremity injuries. A leg injury is like a broken femur or Tib/Fib fracture. LMAO @ this article spooking us with a "leg" injury. This stuff happens all the time in practice and camp.
