[Topeka Capital-Journal] The Chiefs will be without veteran linebacker Donnie Edwards this week, who injured an ankle in Atlanta and may be lost for at least two weeks.
Fellow veteran Pat Surtain, who missed the Falcons game with a shoulder injury, looks very questionable for the Broncos.

Hey I don’t know why everyone hates Carl. Little known fact is that chiefs have a Cash cap that differs from the salaray cap. And is the driving force behind most of his moves including not signing Jared back in. Pay attention to what’s going on We need a QB and there hasn’t been one avaible to us that has done anything in the last two years. They believe brodie and tyler have shots at being good but until they can get on and stay on the field. We won’t know. If we had Eli you guys would of jumped ship far too early. It pains me to watch us lose like this but I believe that if we had a steady QB then we would improve to a top ten team. Damon might win a couple of games short term but then what next year or two we are back in the same position. Les we forget this loosing streak started with Huard leading the way.

What CASH CAP? Chiefs are one of the few teams if not the only team that gets all the money from parking. Plus while they were winning they had tons in merchandising money. Plus all teams get tons in TV money. The Chiefs have never lost money in the last two decades. They have spent near cap money in the past but not the last couple years. How can Denver, San Diego and so on sign and keep all these good players yet the Carl can’t seem to do it. He goes out and signs players for way too much that are not good or are past their prime (Law, Bell,… ) but let proven players go because Carl is an A@%. They could have signed Allen the year before for a lot less money – if they were scared because of possible suspension then put a clause in the contract — EASY — but not for Carl. Everybody and I mean EVERYBODY knew the offensive line was old and ready to retire except for carlletstrytogetbyonemoreyear peterson.
