Go Go Gadget finally put it all together.

One game doesn’t make a season. I’m overjoyed that they finally put together a victory, but they still have a lot of work to do! Playcalling still sucks for the most part. Too damn many passes into the flat, not enough downfield. A lot of rough edges for the Chiefs, that hopefully can be ironed out.

It’s true that we performed well vs a struggling D, but also true we need to be more vertical in the passing game. If we don’t have Huard, this won’t happen. Denver had to think about the passing game as well…..put croil in there and we are doomed…put pigpen in there and we are better at golf. The defense is young and now has hope to build from! Keep drives going and the ‘D’ can rest and play better!!!! GO CHIEFS!!!

i think they should have let Tony G. break that record against the donkeys. hell he only needed what 3 yards to do it. how cool would that have been.

I agree that if our offense can sustain some drives, it will make the defense play better when they are rested. We still have a ways to go, but if the Chiefs can give us a little hope, we can be willing to hang in there with the rebuilding. Go Chiefs.

This was at least a sign of some hope…no more losing streak until next week at the earliest. This was sweet, especially with the win coming at the donkeys expense

croyle gives us a better verticle game than huard anyday. If the O line can give him the amount of time Huard had, he would have made even more passes down field than Huard. Huard goes to the dump off way to often.

Croyle doesnt give us better anything. Trust me, it kills me to say Damon Huard is our best option.

Huard is our best option right now – a quick fix at best. The O-line has never played that well in front of Brodie.
Huard is a career backup for a reason – inconsistancy.
Huard is 35 and currently just has the best grasp of offense.

The only difference between Huard and Croyle is Huard wins every once in a while and Croyle doesn’t.
I didn’t like Herm’s explanation for not letting Tony G. break the record for the home crowd. He’s an idiot and doesn’t deserve coach of the week for that reason. I’m happy for DJ but the defense still gave up to many yards

Just a side note for those of you who where at the game……the “TONY TONY” chant while he was laying in the endzone after his touchdown was probably the greatest moment I have ever experienced! Short as it is
Makes you realize how important he is to this team on and off the field
