How do you rank us under Oakland when we beat Denver and they got killed by Denver? That’s crap. I guess it’s because they beat us bull%4&%4

This power ranking crap means nothing to me. We were 1 corner away from being the best team in the NFL in 2003. How could Vermeil be such an offensive genius and not realize that huge plays kept occurring on W. Bartee and Dexter McCleon. Warfield wasn’t great either but he was good enough. 1 corner back away in 2003 in my opinion. We did not make the Colts punt once and still almost won that game. Frustrating. Along with the starting Grbac over Gannon post season decision in ’97 after Gannon had just beaten the broncos a few weeks earlier. That was our best D. Held Elway and the Broncs to just 10pts and still lost.

With Croyle and Thigpen we may be 29th but with Huard we are better than Denver and San Diego. I’m serious this team is good with Huard. I think that Herm has a personal problem with the guy. He has done very well for us and no one in the league is out of our range of competition when he is in there. Put in 1 of the other guys and we instantly suck. Because our playbook gets shrunk down to screens and hand offs. And then we get behind and let the young guys throw picks. Play Huard now because our team can win now. What are they waiting for Gonzalez and Johnson the meat and potatoes to be past their primes… Retarded we need to take a run at the division right now the AFC West is weak and we can take it this season with Huard.

Its strange how everyone is an optimist after we beat Denver. I wont lie, it was unbelievable and i actually enjoyed watching a whole Chiefs game and wished i was there to see it in person. That hasn’t happened for like, 12 games.

Actually, that playoff game in 97 broncos scored 14. We scored 10. The last play of the game was a overthrown pass to lake dawson in the endzone. I remember it like yesterday. One of the worst days of my life..

The chiefs have one good game and everyone forgets the last 12? Our offense was still horrible with horrible play calling. We forced 4 turnovers in Denver’s territory and we only got 10 points out of it. That’s not an improvement. Next game we are going to go back to holding the other team to 20 points while we score 10
and Huard can play well however I don’t think he can handle a full season. He just doesn’t have it in him

i love the optimism but i agree that the play calling is bad and we need a real qb. huard is the best for now and i hope he doesnt get benched when brodie gets back.
