Chiefs Sign WR Mark Bradley

[Kansas City.com] The Chiefs today signed veteran wide receiver Mark Bradley.

A second-round pick of the Bears in 2005, Bradley’s career has mostly been a disappointment.

He had his best season when he was a rookie, making 18 catches. That number fell to 14 the following season and six last year.

He was released by Chicago this year after playing in two games and not making a catch.

To make room for Bradley, the Chiefs released veteran return man B. J. Sams.

    9. Bradley is actually pretty good, it least his was here in Chicago! Lovies Smith could judge talent if it hit him in the face with a two-by-four, trust me, neither can the G.M. in this town, he is the same G.M. who re-hired Ron Turner as the Offensive Coordinator when the Bears has such a great Offense under Dave Wanstadt with him as the coordinator. Lovie Smith is also the guy who said the his defensive coordinator (Babich) would be so much better than Ron Riveira who management made him keep for his first year here. The first year that Lovie was here you may recall that the Bears went to the Superbowl, and Riviera’s contract was not renewed, the next year the Bears defense went from something like 4 or 5th in the league to like 28th or something like that…

Yeah, I wouldn’t trust Lovie Smith as far as I could throw him, and he never really gave Bradley a chance after that one injury.

On one other personal bias, not to sound like and out and out jerk, and maybe I will to some, but if so…so what…

DUDE, YOU ARE A GROWN MAN, CHANGE YOU NAME…LOVIE,
      P L E A S E ! ! ! ! ! ! !

    10. Wow the message above is some of the most confusing language that I have ever attempted to read!

Anyway if this guy Bradley pans out to be a weapon we will be loaded on offense. Now we just have to stick with Huard all year and have Chan Gailey call a passing play on 1st down for a change. We have to play to win. not play not to lose. Our play calling is so conservative in the redzone… no more screen passes back to back to back. Too vanilla lets open it up. Huard is smart enough to throw it away if the play is not there. I see nothing wrong at all with Huard as a starter… Herm is just not comfortable with him as a starter because he has been a backup for so long. Well guess what Herm he’s the best QB that we have. – He wins, Croyle has only lost so far. Start your experiments after we are out of playoff contention!

    11. That is – if we get knocked out of playoff contention. With Huard we can win the division. I am not overly impressed with Denver, San Diego, or Jokeland. We can beat them all with Huard. Our “D” is better than all of them… And Johnson, Bowe, and Gonzalez is an awesome 3 headed monster if Gailey will let them be.
